In alignment with the Global company strategy and ambition, and in conjunction with the Global Procurement organization, the Global Procurement, Associate Sourcing Manager will be responsible for supporting in the development and Implementation of Client specific sourcing strategies in line with our contractual commitments. With a focus on Procurement specific KPI's and service deliverables, achieving specific savings commitments and successful Client satisfaction, growth and retention.



The position will have a strategic role to play in identifying, managing and reporting against Strategic Sourcing initiatives, Client specific KPI's and Contractual commitments such as Savings Guarantees.



A key part of the role will be to manage the pre-sourcing of repeat items via the ERFQ process to drive cost reduction and help meet our strategic sourcing goals and objectives. In addition to this activity the role will also need to develop suitable reports and prepare proposal documents to the clients for approval.

What you will be doing:

Safety: always follow all site safety and security procedures and attend required safety training. Create and Complete required tendering activity via the selected e-RFQ platform. Create and send Client Proposal Documents for cost reduction initiatives to Client stakeholders for approval/rejection and log status in client specific reporting to be shared with Sourcing Manager/General Manager. Manage procurement requests process via the selected e-platform, reporting on project status by General Manager. Support the Sourcing Manager with collation of data and reporting for sourcing strategy development such as spend profiles, saving performance (savings projects, top favourable/Adverse suppliers etc.., Preferred supplier spend, OEM/MRO split. Support SM and Client team in preparing procurement reporting for MBR/QBR Renewals etc. Liaise with Buying department for price escalations and resolving any Buying queries. Liaising with Category and Supplier on Client projects, such as arranging/facilitating site visits.

What do I need to be successful?

Min three (3) years university course successfully completed in Economics / Business / Science / Logistic or other equivalent. Mater degree is preferred. Minimum three (3) years in sourcing MRO related materials or relevant categories is recommended. Computer proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong skills in Excel / PowerPoint; ability to learn and work with MS Project. A technical background with familiarity of Maintenance, Repair and Operating Materials is recommended. A working knowledge of M.R.P., JIT, and related systems is desirable. Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimum day to day supervision. Knowledge of quality assurance philosophies, practices, and techniques. Strong Project Management skills. Strong negotiation and planning skills. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand vendor and client contracts. Strong communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in cross functional team in a Global environment. Strategic thinking mindset. Ability to influence without authority. Strong financial acumen. Fluent in English written and spoken; another language might be required based on local business needs.
