We're looking for an Associate Supplier Manager to join our dynamic Supplier Management team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc.


This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that is central to how Tesco Bank manages its third-party relationships. You'll have exposure to a wide range of suppliers, including those deemed critical and high-risk, and play a key role in ensuring governance, performance, and compliance are maintained.


You'll be working within the Shared Services Supplier Management team, reporting to the Senior Supplier Manager Lead. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Risk, Finance, CST, and Business Areas such as Customer and Technology. You'll also engage with external suppliers and have opportunities to build relationships across Barclays.


This role offers strong development potential. You'll gain exposure to supplier governance, risk management, contract oversight, and strategic programme engagement. There will be opportunities to grow into more senior roles, develop leadership skills, and build expertise in third-party management frameworks.

What you'll be doing



Support Shared Services Supplier Management team with the end-to-end relationship for a range of suppliers, which have been categorised as critical, important and/or high risk in relation to the services they provide to Tesco Bank. Undertake and facilitate governance meetings, administration, risk management, reporting and analysis. Maintain contact with suppliers and respond to incidents with suppliers or supplies/services, analysing performance and risk. Supports ensuring contracts are managed effectively. Planning and organising workload ensuring activities are visible so they can be adequately prioritised.

We need you to have



Ability to communicate and liaise with internal stakeholders and on occasion where required external stakeholders. A natural curiosity to find out more about Tesco Bank's purpose and business areas. Act as a team member to work with others to deliver improvements and support others. Awareness of third party management frameworks or willingness to learn about this and associated compliance aspects. Gains the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.

Experience working in a supplier management, procurement, or risk-related role. Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar supplier management systems. Understanding of financial services or regulated environments. Exposure to contract management or supplier performance monitoring.
