We have an excellent opportunity for an

Associate Technical Director

to join our

Hydrology Team

. The team are working on an exciting and diverse range of projects at various locations in the UK and Ireland, delivering high quality support for renewable energy projects at all phases. We are a forward thinking, collaborative, dynamic and professional team who encourage individuals to maximise their potential. This is an opportunity to contribute to renewables projects, and work with a wide range of specialists from within Natural Power.


The role will involve providing technical advice and support to clients and colleagues, management of several complex projects, client and stakeholder liaison, writing and reviewing EIA and other technical documents, business development, staff training/line management. Opportunities for training and professional development are also provided. Experience of working on complex renewable projects is essential with experience in a technical expertise in peat or flood risk assessment beneficial.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities



Provide technical advice to colleagues and clients including (but not limited to) survey design, data collection, data analysis and interpretation, and impact assessments. Mentor and technically support a team specialising in hydrology/hydrogeology to deliver timely, accurate and high-quality products and services. Produce, review and approve documents primarily in relation to hydrology/hydrogeology, including (but not limited to): EIA/Environmental Statement chapters, water monitoring plans, Private Water Supply Risk Assessments (PWSRA), Peat Management Plans. Delivery and review of other documentation as required. Manage multiple small and large-scale projects including survey logistics and budgets. Maintain an understanding of the current guidance, and approaches being used in the onshore renewables sector, to inform the requirements for this advice. Maintain, develop and manage relationships with clients, colleagues, consultee bodies and industry contacts to successfully deliver projects and assist our continued business growth. Attendance at design workshops, client and stakeholder meetings to provide hydrological technical advice and support. Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities, feeding into tenders and quotes.

This is a Permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

.
