Our Digital Infrastructure teams support some of the UK's leading telecoms providers in the mobile, fibre and fixed wireless industries with Acquisition, Estate Management and Town and Country Planning services. We have exciting plans to grow the team, the client base and the services we offer.



As such, we are looking for an ambitious Associate Surveyor to join our Digital Infrastructure team based in across one of our UK Hubs and embrace our innovative approach to deliver utility and infrastructure projects across the UK.

As an Associate Telecoms Surveyor you will:



Support the Director of Digital Infrastructure by managing and owning a portfolio of client engagement activities, developing revenue generation opportunities with both new and existing customers from across the industry. Develop strong working relationships with client personnel, internal and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, landowners and occupiers Conduct Site Surveys and Technical Assessments, delivering summary reports. Negotiate new and renewal agreements under the Electronic Communications Code (ECC). Handle rent reviews, assignments, and consents for telecom installations. Agree on Heads of Terms to prevent disputes and streamline lease processes. Act as the main point of contact between landlords, operators, legal teams, and contractors. Advise property owners on telecom-related matters and compliance. Support clients with valuation advice and expert reports Share own experience to support the development of people in the wider organization whilst maintaining and improving your knowledge and skills through specialist CPD. Participate in and support company groups, initiatives, events and social activties and embrace DM's values, engendering a positive attitude within the workplace Support the development of more junior members of staff when required From time to time have the opportunity to work in other areas of the business,

transferring and applying skills to other infrastructure or utility related projects.

The successful candidate will:



Have a demonstrable ability to generate new and repeat revenue through Business Development activities and client engagement. Ideally be MRICS or AssocRICS qualified, (though not essential) Have a comprehensive understanding of telecom legislation (ECC, Landlord & Tenant Act 1954). Familiarity with planning permissions and infrastructure requirements Ideally have strong understanding of at least two of: the mobile, fibre, fixed wireless or data centre industries Have a full UK driving licence Be experienced in leading a team or projects Be a great team player and have a can-do attitude Are a natural problem solver Enjoy delivering results with a tea
