25,115 - 26,740 depending on experience

Work pattern:

8.30am - 4.30pm with one hour unpaid lunch break (There may be some flexibility in working hours); 35 Hours a week; Mon - Fri; Term Time Only

Attendance and Welfare Officer

.

This is an important role that involves looking after pupil attendance as well as supporting the health and welfare needs of our children. You will be a key person pupils turn to when they are feeling unwell or need care during the school day, so kindness and a calm manner are essential. Alongside this, you will also support our SENCO and office team with general admin tasks and sometimes cover the front desk.

About you:

We are looking for someone who:Has experience working in a

primary school

Has experience and/or knowledge of

first aid

Is

kind, caring and supportive

, especially with children who come to welfare Can

multi-task and prioritise

in a busy school environment Has strong

attention to detail

Communicates clearly and confidently - both in writing and in person Works well in a team but is also confident working on their own Builds positive relationships with children, staff and families Is confident using

IT systems

like ARBOR, Medical Tracker, Word and Excel Can work well with other professionals both inside and outside of school
