Attendance Officer - Special Educational Needs (SEN) Setting

Create Education are working with a fantastic SEN school in the Barking area who are seeking an experienced

Attendance Officer

to join their supportive admin team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring, improving, and maintaining excellent attendance across the school, working closely with students, parents, and staff to ensure every child receives the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor daily attendance using

Bromcom

. Track, record, and analyse attendance data to identify patterns and concerns. Liaise with parents/carers and external agencies to address attendance issues. Support the school's safeguarding processes, ensuring all attendance matters are followed up promptly and appropriately. Contribute to the wider administrative and pastoral functions of the school.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as an Attendance Officer (preferably within an SEN or school environment). Strong working knowledge of

Bromcom

MIS. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A good understanding of

safeguarding and child protection procedures

. Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
