What the role involves in a nutshell:



Visit pupils and their parents/carers in their homes to build relationships and improve attendance Collect identified students from their home and bring them to school and, if necessary, take them home again at the end of their session Use a range of assessments and intervention strategies to support students and families to re-engage them with education. Work with the Student Services Team in order to support your role as Attendance Officer
