THE POSITION



We are currently seeking a reliable and professional

Auction Logistics Driver

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and delivering auction items between client locations across the country, our salerooms, and storage facilities, ensuring items are handled with care and delivered on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Safely load, transport and unload auction items, including antiques, furniture and valuables.

Ensure all collections and deliveries are completed efficiently and according to the schedule.

Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during collections or deliveries.

Assist with packing, lifting and handling items, ensuring all are secure during transportation.

Ensure the collection and correct labelling of all items for auction.

Handle fine art and antiques using the correct techniques providing necessary care and attention where necessary.

Ensure the upmost care is taken with clients, public and third-party possessions.

Ensuring the cleanliness and general upkeep of the site and vehicles.

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE



Full UK driving license (essential)

Experienced driving vans or light commercial vehicles

Strong attention to detail and a careful, responsible attitude towards handling items.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy or bulky items.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Punctual, reliable and professional at all times.

Good written and spoken English

Able to listen to and carry out instructions

Flexible approach to hours worked

Available for nights out as required

No two days are the same and therefore you will need a positive mindset and a flexible approach to working hours.

Salary dependent on experience - from 13.21



Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
