Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio-visual systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role involves working with various technologies to ensure seamless integration and operation of audio and visual equipment in diverse environments.

Duties

Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools. Collaborate with clients to understand their AV needs and provide tailored solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio-visual systems promptly. Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Work with schematics and technical drawings to facilitate installations and repairs. Assist in network installation and configuration for AV systems, ensuring reliable connectivity. Provide training to clients on the effective use of audio-visual equipment. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools for installation and repair tasks. Understanding of computer networking principles and practices. Familiarity with computer hardware components relevant to AV systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting. CCTV systems for security integration within AV setups. Knowledge of Avaya systems for communication solutions is advantageous. Competence in network installation processes related to audio-visual technology. Basic electrical knowledge to assist in the installation of AV equipment safely. Understanding of VoIP technologies for integrated communication solutions. Experience with Juniper networking products is a plus.
