Audit and Accounts Senior

A reputable accountancy practice is looking for a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant to join its audit and accounts team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to develop their skills, gain exposure to a wide variety of clients, and progress towards future managerial responsibilities.

Role Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements and management accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders. Assist with planning and carrying out audits across a varied client portfolio. Prepare corporate and personal tax computations. Support clients with queries and foster strong professional relationships. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality work within deadlines. Supervise and mentor trainees, providing guidance and reviewing their work. Actively participate in personal and team professional development.

Personal Requirements

ACA or ACCA qualified (newly qualified up to 3 years post-qualification). Prior experience in an accountancy practice, including exposure to audits. Solid technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Well-organised, methodical, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Proficient with accounting/audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
