Duties



Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial controls and compliance with regulations. Analyse financial data and prepare detailed reports highlighting findings and recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures. Utilise accounting software to facilitate accurate record-keeping and reporting processes. Assist in the development of audit plans and risk assessments based on organisational needs. Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial services to enhance audit processes.

Experience



A background in financial management or accounting is essential, with experience in conducting internal audits being highly desirable. Proficiency in accounting software is required, along with strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial information. Previous experience in the financial services sector will be advantageous, providing insight into industry-specific regulations and practices. Excellent communication skills are necessary for presenting findings clearly and collaborating effectively with team members across the organisation.
