We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our audit team processes through internal audits and analysis. This position is essential for ensuring compliance with accounting standards and enhancing the overall efficiency of our financial services. This is a full time position with an opportunity to covert to Teir 2 visa if needed.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial controls and compliance with regulations.
Analyse financial data and reports to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with various departments to gather information and provide insights on financial performance.
Utilise accounting software to maintain accurate records and streamline audit processes.
Prepare detailed audit reports summarising findings and recommendations for management review.
Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans and strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to financial management and auditing.
Requirements
A degree in Accounting, or ACCA part-qualified.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey findings clearly to stakeholders.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a commitment to continuous improvement in processes.
