We're looking for a

proactive and collaborative Audit Business Partner

to join our Funding & Compliance team. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to grow, build strong relationships, and influence positive change across the business.

During your first year, your main focus will be responding to emerging priority issues across the organisation. You'll step into whatever area presents the highest risk or business impact at the time, helping ensure the company remains compliant and audit?ready.


Working closely with teams across Paragon Skills, Shaping Lives, Babington and Tempdent, you'll support the development of internal audit practices, data integrity processes, and wider compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct internal audit and compliance checks, supporting business teams with 10% audits Deliver training and development sessions to upskill colleagues on audit and compliance Assist the Lead Audit Business Partner during external PFA and funding body audits Use PDSAT reports to support the creation and refinement of internal reporting mechanisms Facilitate funding and compliance audits to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to SLAs Support the business in adapting to changes in awarding body requirements and compliance expectations

Requirements:

Strong influencing and relationship?building skills, especially with Operational Managers and delivery teams A proactive, solution?focused mindset Excellent attention to detail A willingness to learn and build specialist knowledge around funding rules Confidence working independently in a remote environment Experience carrying out financial funding audits, with strong understanding of government funding rules (or willingness to develop this) Experience communicating across a large, multi?sector training provider Background in funding, compliance, or similar audit?driven roles Ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets Strong analytical and problem?solving skills with an affinity for working with data High levels of accuracy and ability to identify and correct errors Ability to travel occasionally for in?person meetings and 1:1s
