Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients and be comfortable leading and developing members of the Audit team. Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be an essential part of our business development efforts. As a key player in the team, you will attend networking events, contribute to pitches for new work, and work closely with the Partners to drive growth and success.
Core Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of audit and accountancy assignments
Supporting the partners
Job plan staff allocation on assignments
Planning work, core work management and completion
Attending meetings with clients
Liaising with clients and clients' finance teams
Liaising and co-operating with other Haslers departments
Managing teams of staff on assignments
Mentoring junior members of staff
Team building
Business development
WIP and billing
Various allocated departmental responsibilities as assigned.
Dealing with ad-hoc issues as they arise
Who We are Looking For
Qualified ACA/ACCA with excellent technical competence
Solid audit experience on a mix of clients and industries
Experience within a Mid-Tier Practice is essential
Proven track record of portfolio management
Knowledge of current UK GAAP accounting standards
Experience of managing and developing a team is essential
IT literate including Sage/Xero and CaseWare experience an advantage.
First class communication skills and the ability to supervise and lead a team would be essential.
Candidates must have a car and a full, clean driving license.
