Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a full time Audit Officer to join our growing team.


Working as part of a highly skilled and supportive team, the successful candidate's main role will be to carry out under supervision a range of audit assignments in line with Global Internal Audit Standards to time and quality standards set internally.


Audit assignments set out in our risk based annual plan cover all council activities. Audit Plan Assignments typically include discussions with managers and staff, determining the controls that are in place and testing them to ensure effectiveness and reporting findings including making recommendations for improvement.


Established processes are in place and full training will be provided.
