Job Description

This brand new Audit & Risk Senior Analyst position plays a pivotal role in further strengthening the organisation's enterprise risk management (ERM) and internal audit programmes, by providing independent, risk-focused assurance to governance committees and senior leadership, while supporting the identification, assessment and mitigation of strategic, operational, financial and compliance risks across the business.



Reporting to the Audit & Risk Manager (who in turn reports to the Head of Audit & Risk), the Senior Analyst contributes to the delivery of the annual risk and assurance plan, ensuring it remains robust, relevant, and focused on priority areas.




The position offers the opportunity to gain deep insight into business models, operational structures, and the control environment, with exposure to senior stakeholders globally.



Key Responsibilities include:
Contribute to the development and delivery of the annual audit and risk plan, ensuring it remains risk-focused and relevant Design, implement and embed risk management frameworks that are robust, consistent and integrated across the organisation Plan, organise and conduct internal audits in line with the annual plan, covering regulatory, compliance, operational and financial areas Apply data analytics to audit planning and fieldwork to strengthen insights and assurance Evaluate business processes and controls, agree findings and recommendations with management, and prepare high-quality reports Support quarterly updates of top and emerging risks, producing clear and insightful management information Monitor and report on the resolution of audit and assurance recommendations Participate in ad-hoc projects, including risk analysis, investigations, efficiency reviews and governance enhancements Undertake international and domestic travel (up to 15%) to complete office audits and assess compliance, processes and controls Build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders to support the operation of the global risk framework
Qualifications and experience:
Professional qualification in accountancy, risk management and/or internal audit (e.g. IRM, ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CIA, CRMA or equivalent) would be helpful, but not mandatory Proven (internal) audit and risk management experience, ideally in an international context - either based abroad, or working for/with international commercial businesses would be an advantage Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, policies and core risk management concepts would be helpful Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills - a great personality Strong analytical, problem-solving and report-writing capabilities Experience in compliance or ISO-related audits beneficial Commercially aware, adaptable, and comfortable working independently or in teams
