The Audit team works across a variety of sectors, handling audit and assurance assignments, accounts preparation, and tax computations. You will gain exposure to organisations ranging from SMEs and not-for-profits to AIM-listed businesses, ensuring variety and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals.

Role Responsibilities



Plan and lead audit engagements, managing onsite teams (approx. 70% of time). Prepare accounts and draft tax computations (approx. 30% of time). Liaise with clients to resolve queries and escalate complex matters as needed. Review work prepared by junior team members and provide constructive feedback. Coach and mentor junior staff, supporting their development. Monitor assignment timelines to ensure work is completed within budget.

Personal Requirements



Part-qualified or fully qualified ACA, ICAS, CA, or ACCA. Experience planning and leading external audits within a UK accountancy practice. Knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102. Strong client-facing skills and professional communication. Familiarity with audit software (Caseware preferred) and Microsoft Office packages. Enthusiasm for learning, development, and supporting a collaborative team environment.
