The Opportunity
As an
Audit Senior Manager
, you'll be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of financial services clients--including asset managers, funds, securities firms, payment institutions, and insurance brokers. You'll lead audit engagements, support the operational running of your team, and play a vital role in mentoring and developing more junior colleagues.
You'll also have the opportunity to contribute strategically to business development and growth, bringing commercial insight and strong client relationship skills to the role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage your own portfolio of financial services audit clients
Deliver high-quality audits in line with UK regulatory requirements
Support planning, resource allocation, and workflow management within the audit team
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to client growth strategies
Ensure revenue and profitability targets are consistently met
Mentor and develop junior team members, promoting a positive team culture
Requirements
ACA / ACCA / CA (or equivalent) qualified
Extensive experience auditing clients within the
financial services sector
Strong working knowledge of
UK GAAP
,
IFRS
, and audit standards
CASS
experience is desirable
A track record of managing and developing junior staff
Excellent communication skills and a commercial, strategic mindset
Strong client-handling and stakeholder engagement abilities
