The Role



Are you recently qualified and looking for a new opportunity to develop your career? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our talented team as Audit Senior. The role is to be responsible for supporting on and leading accounts and audit assignments to a varied portfolio of clients, predominantly in the Norfolk and Suffolk area, reporting to Audit Assistant Managers, Managers and directly to Partners. This role will be based out of our Norwich office working within the Firm's dedicated audit team.

Duties include, but are not limited to:



Planning audit assignments. Undertaking audit fieldwork, both at client premises and remotely. Preparing statutory financial statements for not-for-profit and corporate clients. Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge. Working to deadlines and meeting targets. Communicating workload capacity with managers and partners. Working closely with other members of the audit team. Assisting in the development of trainees within the team. Promoting and contributing to the vision and values of M+A Partners. Maintaining an up-to-date profile and active presence on LinkedIn to enhance professional networking and promote Firm-wide initiatives (training can be provided).

The Candidate



ACA or ACCA qualified. At least 3 years of practical audit experience within a UK firm. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organisational skills to ensure client deadlines are met whilst managing a broad portfolio. Excellent I.T skills and proficiency in usual Office 365 - Outlook/Word/Excel. Working knowledge of CaseWare, Datasnipper, Sage, QuickBooks Online or Xero accounting packages if preferred, but full training is available.

Other



Although not essential, hold a valid driving licence as some assignments may require travel to client premises or other offices in East Anglia.
