Are you looking to gain insight into audit and accountancy? We're seeking ambitious penultimate year university undergraduates from all backgrounds to join our Corporate Group as a Summer Intern.

About the team

The Corporate Audit Group provides audit and accounting support, and wider advice, to a diverse range of clients across various sectors, including real estate, recruitment, retail and hospitality, and financial services. Our clients range from smaller, owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial enterprises to medium and large international groups. We also work with a variety of charities and other not-for-profit organisations. As you progress through your training contract, you may have the opportunity to tailor your portfolio and specialise in a particular area of interest.

About the internships

Our summer internships run for a period of six to eight weeks each summer, providing a valuable insight into the workings of Saffery.



You'll be partnered with a dedicated mentor who will ensure your internship is both enjoyable and challenging.

Your role and development

Your growthwill incorporate an exciting blend of valuable work experience and real-world learning.

Audit:

You'll learn various stages of an audit. Work onaudit and accounts preparation assignments for clients across diverse industries. Learn how to conduct client reviews and audit testing. There may be opportunities to visit client sites and see first-hand how relationships are built and managed. Progressively take on more responsibility, enabling you to understand the audit cycle.

We'll support you every step of the way through mentorship, structured training, as well as regular social events to build friendships with colleagues.

What you'll need

2:1 undergraduate degree (expected) in any discipline, A minimum of 120 UCAS points from your top 3 A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies and AS Levels. A minimum of 6 (or B) in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent).
