To help ensure stock loss within the business is kept to a minimum and to help the Company and the stores achieve their audit objectives by offering advice and best practise. To ensure that processes and procedures are being followed and that any recommendations have been followed up.
Key Responsibilities
Role Specific
Create own working schedule to make sure that all stores in area are being audited and that all stores have the appropriate amount of audits as determined by various metrics.
Managing and delegating tasks to the staff in store during the audit
Make sure that all stock is scanned and counted in store
Investigate audit discrepancy file with the help of Stock Integrity, by looking into Deliveries, IBT's In and Out, Mail Order Returns, etc.
Complete audit and explain result fully to the Manager, answering any questions the manager may have.
Assist store and ensure they complete an Action Plan at every audit, offering training tips to the Manager, to help with future audits.
Complete an Audit Comments form for every audit, this allows the Area Managers and Retail Operations more information on the audit.
Escalate poor audit results and potential security risks immediately and raise concerns with the relevant departments.
Carry out audits on the Warehouses and Cost Centres as required.
To attend Area Meetings where requested by either Retail Operations or Area Managers.
Assist team with various audit reporting requirements
Conduct shopfloor scans as required by the business
Store visits to perform follow ups on audit actions, scans / checks as required, supervised counts, risk checks etc.
Provide back of house / stock supervision and support at store close downs, refits and new store openings.
Any other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience
Requirements
Retail Auditor, Store Manager or Assistant Manager with at least 1 years experience within the company.
Having supported current audit team on a store opening or closure or having carried out, or supported on a Retail Audit.
A full driving licence will be beneficial.
Good communication skills with store management, store staff and head office.
Good numerical skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook email and Microsoft Excel, these will be used on a daily basis.
You will be required to travel.
Competencies
The ability to work alone for the majority of the time and also as part of a team.
To be supportive to other Audit Team members in their areas when requested.
Ability to plan and organise own working schedule, timing, travel arrangements and accommodation.
Able to work flexible hours; including late nights, early mornings, weekends as required to meet the needs of the business.
