Role Overview
The Authorising Officer will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all regulatory
requirements related to recruitment, sponsorship, and worker management. The role involves
oversight of authorisations, documentation accuracy, and liaison with relevant authorities to
maintain our compliance standards as a licensed construction recruitment agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated Authorising Officer for compliance oversight within Iredia Resources Ltd.
- Ensure all recruitment and sponsorship activities meet Home Office and regulatory standards.
- Manage the Sponsor Management System (SMS) and ensure records are accurate and up to
date.
- Oversee compliance checks, audits, and reporting to maintain good standing with relevant bodies.
- Act as the key point of contact for compliance inspections and regulatory audits.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams to uphold compliance best practices.
- Monitor and review processes to identify and address compliance risks proactively.
Essential Criteria
- Must be based in the UK and legally eligible to work.
- Senior-level professional with authority to oversee company compliance.
- Strong understanding of UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) sponsor management and compliance
requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and reporting skills.
- Proven ability to manage compliance systems and liaise with regulatory bodies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to train or guide staff effectively.Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience as an Authorising Officer or Compliance Manager.
- Background in construction recruitment or workforce compliance.
- Familiarity with sponsor licence management and audit procedures.
- Ability to develop and improve internal compliance processes.
