The Role
As an ARP Class Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver
highly differentiated, engaging and structured lessons
tailored to individual EHCPs.
Implement autism-specific strategies including
TEACCH, PECS
, and visual timetables.
Support pupils with communication, social understanding and emotional regulation.
Collaborate with the
SENCO
, support staff, therapists and external professionals to deliver a holistic, inclusive approach.
Build strong relationships with
parents and carers
, actively involving them in the learning journey.
Contribute to the wider inclusive ethos of the school and lead by example in championing neurodiversity.
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from:
Qualified Teachers (QTS)
with experience in SEND and/or ASC settings.
Educators who are passionate about inclusion, emotional well-being, and evidence-based intervention.
Practitioners with knowledge of
TEACCH, PECS, sensory integration
, or similar structured approaches.
Early Career Teachers
with strong SEND placement experience and a willingness to learn from a supportive and experienced team.
