Role Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with ASD.
Assist with communication, sensory, and emotional regulation needs.
Implement behaviour support plans and use positive behaviour strategies.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff.
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience supporting children or young people with ASD.
Training or knowledge in
de-escalation techniques
(e.g. Team Teach, PRICE, or similar).
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
Excellent communication skills and adaptability.
A valid
Enhanced DBS
(or willingness to apply for one).
