We're looking for a compassionate, proactive Autism Support Coach to join our Employment and Inclusion Support team. This role is part of the Norfolk Adult Autism Short-Term Support Service, offering tailored, time-limited support to autistic adults to help reduce the need for formal social care assessments.
You will:
deliver person-centred coaching to autistic adults in Diss and the surrounding areas
help individuals overcome barriers to accessing services, community activities, employment, and learning
create and manage coaching plans with SMART objectives and progression pathways
facilitate group and individual coaching sessions in community settings
build relationships with local services and stakeholders to support holistic outcomes
promote peer support groups and contribute to service development
Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding and GDPR standards.
You will have:
experience working with autistic adults and/or people with learning disabilities
a Level 2 qualification in IAG, Coaching, Mentoring, Teaching - or equivalent experience
strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
the ability to work independently and flexibly across Norfolk
confidence in using MS Office and managing service documentation
knowledge of local services and labour market information is a plus.
