Are you an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with autism? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join a one-form entry school in Denton, located near public transport links.

The school is proud to have a strong team of staff who are dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. They are committed to providing the best support possible for their students with special educational needs and are seeking a candidate who shares this passion.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working with challenging behaviour and ideally come from a care or support worker background.
• Will work closely with the class teacher and special educational needs team to provide tailored support to a student with autism, helping them to reach their full potential.
• Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Supporting the student with their learning activities
• Helping to manage challenging behaviour
• Assisting with communication and socialisation skills
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff to plan and implement individual education plans
• Participating in training and professional development opportunities

To be successful in the role of an Autism EYFS TA, you will:

• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Have SEND experience
• Ideally have EYFS experience and knowledge of curriculum
• Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
