We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and a keen eye for detail. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs. Perform body repairs, including welding, panel replacement, and refinishing. Utilise various tools and equipment to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming as needed. Paint vehicles using spray guns and other equipment, ensuring a smooth finish. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair processes and timelines. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in auto body repair techniques.

Experience

Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment related to auto body repair. Knowledge of vehicle construction techniques and materials is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence is required; additional qualifications in automotive technology or related fields are a plus.
