JOB DESCRIPTION
Aaron Access is currently looking to hire an Engineering specialising in Auto Door & Gate systems on a full-time basis (40 hours minimum per week) to work within our existing engineer team.
Aaron Access is an engineering services provider for high profile clients within the UK and provides expert services in installations, repairs, renewal and maintenance projects and contracted works.
You will be attending customer sites and installing, servicing and maintaining a range of industrial doors and roller shutter.
Responsibilities
Carry out specified repair works rectifying any faults identified to relevant systems
Liaise with clients when arranging and carrying out works
Undertake fault diagnosis and reports for commercial buildings and domestic properties
Undertake all works in accordance with relevant health & safety legislation and safe work methods
Understand the obligation to have a duty of care towards clients and operate accordingly
Create accurate POW risk assessments and method statements.
Be responsible for a company vehicle ensuring that it is maintained, kept tidy and cleaned as required in line with company policy. Ensure that vehicle stock levels are maintained to the appropriate level and that accurate records are maintained.
Keep personal relevant engineering critical qualifications up to date as per the role requirements.

Carrying out minor works in a range of non-trade related tasks which may include but not exhaustive; filling and painting to damage created by installation works, minor joinery repairs to floorboards or panelling etc.
Be available to cover emergency out of hours rota when required in relation to role and business requirements.

Skills and Experience:
Demonstrable experience of delivery for auto door and gate entry systems
Demonstrable experience of maintaining and carrying out repairs and small works to auto door & gate systems
Good understanding of the process for rectifying and upgrading auto door & gate systems
Competent in carrying out minor works in range of non trade related tasks
Good knowledge of health & safety and ability to identify and manage risk.
Ability to work to a high standard using own initiative
Confidently liaise with customers and colleagues
Good time management
DHF qualification
ADSA qualification
Full UK driving licence
Ideally experience of working in commercial premises
Work schedule
:
Monday - Friday role
24/7 call out rota on a 1 x p/w in 12 approx (call rota is 250 per week plus call hours)
