We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify faults Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs Carry out equipment repair and maintenance to ensure optimal operational efficiency Assist with the installation of new parts and components, ensuring proper fitment and function Conduct heavy lifting when necessary to move or position vehicle parts or equipment safely Maintain detailed records of all work performed for each vehicle Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and professionally

Requirements

Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role with a solid understanding of vehicle systems Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and equipment repair methods Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a workshop environment Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good communication skills with a focus on customer service Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology are preferred but not essential
