We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and models using a variety of CAD software, supporting our projects across construction and civil engineering sectors. Responsibilities
Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software programmes.
Create and modify schematics, technical diagrams, and construction plans in accordance with project specifications.
Utilise SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and SolidWorks to produce accurate models for design validation and project planning.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards.
Assist in reviewing design documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry regulations.
Maintain organised digital files of all drawings and models for easy retrieval and version control.
Support the integration of CAD models into larger project workflows, ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines.
Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, and Schematics is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of civil engineering or construction processes to produce relevant technical drawings.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into precise CAD models.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
