i-Wonder provide price comparison technology and software for insurance businesses operating within the personal lines and commercial markets. One of our key services is to create price comparison websites. Our clients include Compare the Market, Go.compare, and Confused.com.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled

Software Test Lead

with a strong focus on

Automated Testing

to join our QA team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable deployment. Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues. Maintain and improve test frameworks and tooling to enhance test coverage and efficiency. Perform regression testing and contribute to performance and load testing efforts. Document test cases, procedures, and results clearly and concisely.

Key Skills

Proven experience in software testing with a focus on automation. Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#). Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps). Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Desirable Qualifications:

ISTQB or equivalent certification. Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
