Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automatic & Industrial Door Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of door systems in various settings. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Duties

Install door systems according to manufacturer specifications and industry regulations. Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on existing doors to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with door systems including mechanical and electrical faults, providing effective solutions in a timely manner. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for suitable door solutions. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations. Adhere to health and safety regulations while on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in door technology. Attend emergency call-outs as part of a rota.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Automatic & Industrial Door Engineer. Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanics, and automated systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues ensuring you deliver excellent customer service on-site. A Full valid UK driving licence is essential for travel between job sites. Relevant certifications in engineering or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory. (ADSA / DHF / CSCS / IPAF / PASMA certification desirable but not essential.)
