to join our busy and expanding office based in Coventry.

, to work within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm.
Key Responsibilities:
System Development
: Design and implement automation systems for increased efficiency and quality, focusing on our robotic welding cells.
Programming and Optimisation
: Program and optimise the operation of robotic machinery to meet production specifications and timelines.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
: Conduct regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime and maintain high operational efficiency.
Continuous Improvement
: Leverage lean manufacturing principles to identify process improvements and reduce waste, aligning with our dedication to continuous improvement.
Collaboration
: Work closely with production, maintenance, and other engineering teams to develop and implement automation solutions that meet the company's strategic objectives.
Training and Support
: Provide technical support and training to staff on new and existing automation systems, promoting a culture of learning and adaptation.
Safety and Compliance
: Ensure all automation projects comply with industry standards and company safety policies, maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated manufacturing systems, with specific expertise in robotics machinery.
Strong programming skills, particularly in robotic programming languages.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of working effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
