Core values of Trust, Autonomy, Craftsmanship, Collaboration and Learn Fast help drive our innovative culture About the role: As the Automation Test Analyst, your role involves crafting, enhancing, and sustaining the Test Tools crucial for facilitating the execution of Commissioning & Business Acceptance Testing across our global Ocado solutions. Collaborating within a dynamic team of Test Analysts, you will contribute to achieving the CAT department\'s deliverables and objectives, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality Commissioning & Testing service to projects that is not only efficient and professional but also cost-effective You will be accountable for:

  • Create, support & maintain Test tool architecture which facilitates all commissioning & testing tasks and processes required to test & integrate Ocado software into new and existing Ocado solutions.
  • Automate test tools with API/ software applications to execute, track and report commissioning testing progress, ensuring standardisations and quality
  • Automate test tools with API/ software applications to raise & record defects, issues in order to supply enough information to facilitate investigation
  • Writing code via SQL or likewise to extract appropriate data from related databases and data stores
  • Problem Solving, reviewing requirements, specifications and business processes in order to advise and implement the use of automation to drive productivity
  • The design and implementation of test conditions, and test cases for IT testing, MHE testing, and Business Process Testing in both a warehouse and office environment
  • Liaising with developers, business analysts and business users to link and automate workflows
  • Identifying, sourcing and creating automation to link critical data to facilitate timely decisions by the CAT Leadership team.
  • Supporting CAT department during escalation of issues with documentation/reporting tools developed
What we\'re looking for: As a minimum
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Experience with use of some of following - Java, Javascript, C, C##, Python, SQL
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management and able to deliver on deadlines
  • Competent with MS Applications & Google suite including creating scripts
  • Numeracy skills
  • Good communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Maintaining positive relationships
  • Strong Organisational skills
  • Strong Stakeholder management
  • Valid UK driving license (occasional client support required (UK /+ Overseas)
It would be great if you have;
  • ISTQB - Testing Foundation
  • Business Analyst qualification
  • Exposure to Continuous integration and automated testing strategies
  • Experience with extracting and converting data with use of platforms like Google Cloud Platform or similar with Looker Studio or similar
  • Exposure to GIT and pipelines
  • Experience in using BDD style test definitions or acceptance criteria
