Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. This is a critical role in our client delivery, as you will play a key part in identifying and resolving any issues or bugs before our products are released to the market.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of our software products

- Perform various types of testing including functional, system, integration, and regression testing

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot software defects

- Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure that our software meets the needs of our clients

- Utilize automated testing tools such as Selenium to streamline the testing process and to deliver the regression test packs

- Participate in continuous integration efforts to ensure that new features are integrated smoothly into existing systems

- Document test results and provide detailed reports to the development team

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role

- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes

- Knowledge of Performance Testing is a bonus

- Solid educational background - Tech College/Degree - Computer Science etc

- Strong communication skills Excellent adaptability, flexibility and ability to learn

- Experience with database technologies such as PL/SQL

- Familiarity with defect management tools like Jira, Zeppyr is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 29,500.00-44,000.00 per year
