Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our software development processes through automation, ensuring high-quality outputs and efficient workflows. This position requires a strong understanding of various testing frameworks and methodologies, as well as the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium. Create and execute test cases to validate software functionality and performance. Collaborate with development and operations teams in a DevOps environment to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Work with APIs to ensure seamless integration and functionality across systems. Conduct business analysis to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Participate in architectural discussions to enhance system design and performance. Utilise SOAP for web service testing and validation. Implement performance testing using LoadRunner to assess application scalability and reliability. Manage release processes, ensuring that all automated tests are executed prior to deployment.

Skills

Proficiency in Selenium for automated testing. Strong knowledge of test case creation and execution methodologies. Experience with DevOps practices and tools. Familiarity with APIs and their integration within applications. Proficient in C# for developing automation scripts. Understanding of business analysis principles to gather requirements effectively. Knowledge of software architecture concepts for optimal system design. Experience with SOAP for web service testing is advantageous. Familiarity with LoadRunner for performance testing is desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
