We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Automation tester.

About the Role

From 50,940 (negotiable) as a basic salary plus10% Bonus + Benefits

Based 3 days per week at Maidenhead

The Role

You will contribute your testing expertise to the Architecture team at our Headquarters in Maidenhead. You will define, create, write and execute automated test scripts following the testing practices incorporated, as well as communicate with other business areas to ensure a high quality of delivery for all customers.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain the automated scripts using tools like Selenium, Rest Assured and Appium for various projects. Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployments (CI/CD) pipelines with experience in Bit bucket and Jenkins. Implement API automation using Postman and integrate with CI/CD tool. Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports in JIRA/Xray. Improving the test metrics and provide test progress update to the project teams following the SUEZ testing practices. Participate in test planning, estimation and review activities collaborating with the development teams. Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies throughout the different phases of Testing. Analyse test results, troubleshoot failures and work with the development team to resolve issues. Create and manage test data and ensure comprehensive test coverage alongside analysing the results and automated reports generated. Identifying areas of enhancement to maintain the framework for scalability and efficiency. Involve in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and ways to improve the framework. Collaborate with cross- functional teams to understand application features and technical implementation.

Skills Required

Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Java, JavaScript. Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Junit or similar. Understanding of Agile/Scrum, methodologies and experience working in agile teams. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab Experience with API testing tools like Postman. Experience in mobile test automation (Android/iOS) Knowledge on performance testing tools like JMeter will be nice to have. Good understanding in SQL. ISTQB or equivalent certification

Experience Required

Knowledge on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Experience in implementing testing frameworks for Web and mobile applications. * Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles.
