Summary



We are seeking an Automation & WMS Super User to join our dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent. This role is ensure the smooth running of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and automation software across the warehouse.
This role acts as the on-site system expert, supporting users, monitoring performance, and resolving software-related errors. The Automation & WMS Super User will work closely with warehouse teams, the 3rd-party WMS provider, and the wider operations function to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and system uptime. This may involve travel to other warehouse sites.

Key Responsibilities



Act as the first line of support for all WMS-related queries and system issues. Monitor system alerts, errors, and exceptions, ensuring issues are logged and resolved quickly. Support end users with transaction issues such as stock movements, pallet status errors, or picking/putaway discrepancies. Escalate technical problems to the WMS provider or IT support as appropriate and follow through to resolution. Maintain clear records of all issues, resolutions, and any trends affecting performance. Work with the warehouse leadership team to identify and resolve process gaps or system misuse. Assist with testing, training, and rollout of WMS updates or configuration changes. Review daily system performance and highlight recurring errors, missed scans, or interface delays. Support data accuracy by monitoring stock integrity, order processing, and warehouse task completion within the WMS. Liaise with the Operations and IT teams to ensure system changes are properly coordinated and communicated to site users.

Skills & Experience



Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment using a WMS. Strong understanding of warehouse workflows and data accuracy requirements. Confident in using computer systems and analysing data or error logs. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and the ability to support and train colleagues on system use. Organised, methodical, and proactive in following up system issues. Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced operational environment.
