Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new
insurance, accident management, and fleet repair contracts
Build and manage a strong
sales pipeline
with clear forecasting
Lead commercial negotiations from first meeting to
signed agreement
Develop long-term relationships with insurers, work providers, and fleet decision-makers
Represent the business at meetings, audits, and commercial reviews
Achieve agreed
monthly and annual sales targets
Provide insight on competitor activity, pricing, and market trends
Support onboarding and retention of new accounts
Essential Experience & Skills
Proven experience in
automotive business development
or
contract sales
Background in one or more of the following:
Accident repair / bodyshop environment
Insurance networks
Accident management
Fleet repair services
Demonstrable track record of
winning new business
Strong negotiation and commercial decision-making skills
Confident communicator at senior stakeholder level
Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-focused
Full UK driving licence
Desirable (Not Essential)
Existing insurer, work provider, or fleet contacts
Experience with BSI-approved or insurer-network bodyshops
Knowledge of estimating systems such as Audatex
Understanding of EV or ADAS repair environments
