This role manages all advertising and promotional activities, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and analyses market trends to optimize marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Goals
Set marketing goals aligned with dealership objectives.
Develop short and long-term marketing plans and budgets.
Monitor and adjust plans to ensure profitability and market expansion.
Advertising & Promotions
Manage print, electronic, direct mail, TV, radio, and digital campaigns.
Collaborate with creative teams and external agencies.
Oversee production of promotional materials and ad content.
Stakeholder Communication
Liaise with manufacturers, news media, advertising agencies, and dealership management.
Present reports and marketing insights to leadership.
Keep dealership staff informed of marketing initiatives.
Market & Customer Research
Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor strategies.
Conduct surveys and use data to inform marketing direction.
Track and report on campaign effectiveness.
Administrative Duties
Ensure activities stay within budget and deliver expected ROI.
Attend industry meetings and represent the dealership professionally.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
2-10 years of marketing experience, ideally in automotive or a related industry.
Language Skills:
Able to comprehend and produce clear written and verbal communication, from simple memos to complex reports and presentations.
Comfortable addressing internal teams, customers, and media/public groups.
Mathematical Skills:
Proficient in basic and intermediate-level math including percentages, ratios, and data interpretation.
Reasoning Ability:
Strong problem-solving skills ranging from routine issues to complex challenges involving market data and customer feedback.
