We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Duties



Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using up to date Diagnostic equipment Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs efficiently and safely Carry out equipment repair and maintenance tasks to ensure workshop tools and machinery are in optimal condition Assist with vehicle assembly or disassembly as required for repair or refurbishment projects Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures and addressing client concerns Undertake heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components safely during repair processes Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used in accordance with company procedures

Requirements



Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role with strong mechanical knowledge Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and assembly diagrams Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other workshop machinery Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and equipment repair techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and work documentation Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive engineering or mechanics are desirable but not essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-46,000.00 per year
