Are you an experienced automotive professional with a passion for sharing knowledge? Join Pelican EV Automotive Training part of the Pelican Engineering Group. With over 100 years of heritage, we're a family-owned business employing 200+ colleagues and committed to developing people.

We are currently seeking an Automotive Technical Trainer (Adults) to deliver high-quality automotive training. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a diverse suite of training courses at our Castleford training centre and nationally at our customer premises.

You will need to have an automotive background and hold relevant qualifications aligned with the training courses we deliver.

The Role

Deliver engaging and interactive technical training to technicians and engineers. Work closely with internal teams and clients to identify training needs. Ensure training meets industry, awarding body, and Pelican's high standards. Support the continuous development of our growing electric vehicle and training portfolio.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience in the automotive sector. Level 3 technical qualification in Light or Heavy Vehicle Engineering. Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills. IT literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Flexibility to travel and deliver training nationwide. Teaching/training qualification (or willingness to achieve). Automotive High Voltage, IRTEC, Refrigerant Handling, and ADAS. Experience designing and developing training materials.
