Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Windscreen Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of vehicle windscreens. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. The Windscreen Technician will work with various tools and equipment to ensure that all jobs are completed to the highest standards.

Duties

Install and replace windscreens on a variety of vehicles, ensuring proper alignment and sealing. Perform repairs on damaged windscreens, including chip repairs. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repair tasks. Conduct routine maintenance checks on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries and concerns professionally. Assist in heavy lifting of windscreens and other materials as required during installations.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or related fields preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential. Strong understanding of assembly processes related to vehicle components. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Previous experience in maintenance or equipment repair is advantageous but not mandatory. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
