As a
Business Development Manager (BDM)

AutoStore Solutions
, you will play a key role in driving growth for Kardex by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across our target markets. Working closely with the local teams, you'll leverage your professional network, LinkedIn outreach, and proactive customer engagement to expand our sales funnel and build long-term client relationships.
You will combine strong technical understanding with customer focus, ensuring that each solution delivers real value and efficiency.
What You'll Do

Identify and generate new business opportunities to drive the growth of AutoStore projects across target market segments.
Build and maintain trusted, long-term customer relationships, acting as a strategic advisor from first contact to project handover.
Understand customer requirements in depth -- analyzing logistical processes, storage needs, and operational challenges to identify opportunities for automation.
Recommend and position AutoStore solutions that best fit customer needs, demonstrating strong technical and commercial understanding.
Lead or support the development of proposals and bids, preparing compelling customer presentations and commercial offers in collaboration with solution design, finance, and project management teams.
Collaborate closely with sales, marketing and technical experts to qualify and progress opportunities through the sales funnel.
Maintain a strong awareness of market trends, competitive solutions, and emerging technologies to continuously refine the sales approach.
Represent Kardex professionally at conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows, promoting the AutoStore offering and expanding the network of potential clients.
Ensure all customer interactions and opportunity progress are tracked in Salesforce, using data to enhance insight, forecasting, and decision-making.
Share best practices and support colleagues across the global sales organization to strengthen Kardex's overall AutoStore capability.
What You Bring

5+ years of experience in sales, business development or consulting within intralogistics or warehouse automation.
Proven track record of successful project sales and customer engagement.
Strong understanding of logistics processes and IT systems.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Entrepreneurial mindset -- self-driven, results-oriented, and passionate about customer success.
Relevant degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or a related field.
