Job Title: AV Engineer
Location: Bolton
Rate: \xc2\xa332,000 p/a

Description of contract / Programme of works:

As an AV Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems within the Fibre, Broadband, and Telecommunications industry. You will work closely with a team of engineers to ensure the seamless integration of AV equipment and deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
Install, configure, and test audiovisual systems including cameras, displays, speakers, projectors, and control systems.
Conduct site surveys to assess requirements, identify potential issues, and plan installations accordingly.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audiovisual systems, including network connectivity, software configuration, and hardware malfunctions.
Provide on-site support and maintenance for AV systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate documentation of installation procedures, system configurations, and client interactions.

Required documentation / certificates:

In-depth knowledge of audiovisual systems, including cameras, displays, speakers, projectors, control systems, and signal distribution.
Familiarity with AV protocols and standards such as HDMI, HDBaseT, Dante, and AES67.
Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving AV system issues.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting AV system drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Relevant certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association) are desirable.
