Job Overview

We are looking to recruit an ambitious and enthusiastic AV Installation Engineer who would have gained training as an AV Technician. You will be initially based at our offices in Maidenhead and be working with other engineers on installation sites.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity that would ideally suit an ambitious individual who has already gained experience in the AV Industry (2-3 years) and is looking for their next step within their career.

First and foremost, as an AV Installation engineer you must be able to work to a high-quality standard. You will have excellent installation knowledge and a genuine interest in audio visual solutions.

Duties

This role is open to UK residents; all applicants will need to have any visas (if required) already in place and ideally live within commutable distance of Maidenhead. Accountabilities include Onsite Work 90% Practical work includes but is not limited to: Installation of AV solutions across various verticals including but not limited to corporate, higher education, retail and residential.
In office 10%

Installation preparation of tools, equipment, consumables, and installation documentation. Van and Cable monthly checks.
Personal development.

AV on-site installation of equipment in a range of environments including dvLED, projection, display screens, UC technologies, audio solutions, switching, video scalers, signal extenders and digital signage. Rack Building and wiring. PC skills. Knowledge of product firmware updates is an advantage. Adherence to site rules, procedures, and H&S. Communicating job progress to the Project Manager and Resource Planner. Completion of all project documentation and signoffs.

Experience

The successful candidate will have:

A minimum of 2-3 years' experience. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. ECS, IPAF, PASMA. Avixa AVT, CTS, LED experience is an advantage. Driving Licence.
