The Role

We're looking for a skilled and motivated AV Installation & Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving installation, maintenance, and servicing of AV systems at client sites and CPS premises. You'll also support customers and colleagues in resolving technical and logistical challenges.


You'll receive in-house technical training from our experienced engineers, enabling you to confidently deliver high-quality installations and provide ongoing support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain AV systems and associated cabling at client sites. Carry out servicing, maintenance, and PAT testing. Provide technical support to customers and staff. Communicate with clients and suppliers regarding service items. Ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Working Conditions

Based at CPS' main office with regular travel to client sites. Occasional evening and weekend work required. Some projects may involve overnight stays away from the local area.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

+ Basic electrical knowledge and technical aptitude.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to prioritise workload and work independently or as part of a team.
+ Good communication skills and professional presentation.
+ Full UK driving licence and own transport.
+ Literacy and computing skills.

Desirable:

+ Electronics or electrical qualifications.
+ Experience with cable installation, soldering, and hardware construction.
+ Knowledge of the events and leisure industry.
+ DIY or practical skills.
