What you can expect: o To service all AV requirements as requested by clients through the hotel events team o To offer technical support to the venue's AV Manager and Events team. o Ensuring that all kit is set up neatly and to a high standard. o Assist with support for multi-media broadcasting o Quick response to emergency/ad-hoc requests o Assist where possible with IT related enquiries during supports. Escalate issues if required. o To keep an on-going stock check of equipment stored on site. o To work with the hotel's operation staff to ensure each room has correctly set up AV equipment. o To operate events as and when needed What we expect from you: o To be hard working and enthusiastic o To have hands on knowledge of technical equipment: (this can be with computers and we will train you to mix a sound desk) o Knowledge and experience of the hotel conference industry (this is not essential however would be benefifical) o Customer service skills o To be a good team player o To have good attention to detail and take pride in your own work o Good communication & time management skills o Be Computer Literate - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel / Word / Outlook and Powerpoint Some of the perks our AV Technician could enjoy include:
