Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of audio-visual and telecommunication equipment across various client sites. This role requires a solid understanding of computer networking, electrical systems, and telecommunication protocols, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently. The ideal applicant will possess experience with ,VoIP, Cisco routers, and network installation, ensuring seamless operation of AV systems in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, screens, sound systems, and video conferencing tools. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on AV and telecommunication systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot technical issues related to , Cisco routers, Crestron, Ethernet networks, Repair or replace faulty hardware components using hand tools and electrical knowledge. Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate installation and repairs. Assist with network installation projects involving computer hardware, Ethernet cabling, and telecommunication infrastructure. Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored AV solutions. Document system configurations and maintenance activities for future reference. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes.

Experience

Proven experience working as an Audio Visual Technician or in a similar role or IT industry. Strong knowledge of Crestron, Micrsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco routers, Ethernet cabling, and VoIP technology. Hands-on experience with network installation, troubleshooting computer networking issues, and equipment repair. Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and telecommunication protocols is essential. Practical skills in using hand tools for hardware installation and repair tasks. Electrical experience is highly desirable to support system integration and troubleshooting efforts. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
