We are looking for a flexible and safety conscious Ramp Assistant to assist our business in maintaining a smooth operation by ensuring our aircraft are flight ready. This is a hands-on role is based right at the heart of an exciting airport environment. A Ramp Assistant is a vital role within the Operations Team and ensures the aircraft, staff and students have everything they need to safely take to the skies

This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Oxford Academy. Ramp Agents work 40 hours per week over 5 days, and the team cover a 7-day week operation.

Role Duties





Ensure all aircraft are appropriately refuelled and oil levels at the required level Ensure all aircraft are cleaned and fit for flight, both internally and externally Move aircraft in and out hangar and around the apron as required Maintain hangar cleanliness. Carry out de-icing duties as required Maintain a high standard of safety and presentation at all times when operating. Undertake daily, weekly and monthly vehicle and ground equipment and fuel checks Escort visitors airside as required Provide vital support to the Operations Team Demonstrate and uphold the company's core values in all actions, decisions, and interactions.

Core Competencies





An interest in Aviation Highly safety conscious Experience working to strict safety and operational regulations An independent and flexible work ethic Manual handling skills A full UK driving licence (essential) A pro-active manner, looking to resolve issues within approved boundaries A flexible approach to working hours; the team participate in a shift pattern to cover a 7-day week operation which covers weekend and evening working on a rotational basis. Excellent communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic outlook. Demonstrable alignment with the company's core values in attitude, conduct, and work ethic.
